In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our global product strategy and innovation.Your key responsibilities in this role will include:* Defining a global product portfolio strategy based on customer insights, competitive analysis, industry research & our portfolio from global production sites.* Creating a new product road map based on identified product gaps and own the Concept to Launch & Scale-up cycle for new product commercialization.* Managing the product positioning, pricing & gross margin guidelines to deliver a growing, profitable product portfolio.* Creating & supporting execution of a targeted product promotional plan to drive demand generation based on geographies, customer segment or application area.* Manage inter-divisional co-ordination with appropriate production divisions & manufacturing sites for launch & supply of products at the right cost, on time.* Use digitalization tools to improve product portfolio management activitiesThe key to success in this role is effective collaboration across functions and with partners, transforming insights into impactful actions. This will start as an individual contributor role, working closely with our global team.The position is based in either Höganäs India or in Sweden/Europe, and in this role you will report to the “Division President”.You should be willing to travel for work in order to meet the global colleagues/ customers, but we don’t expect that you will need more than 20 travelling days away during a year.**Your profile**You have a minimum of 10 years of work experience in an industrial goods company, out of which at least 5 years should be in a product management/ business development or related role. You have an engineering/ science educational background. A qualification in business management or related field would be preferable.You have experience working on assignments which involved collaborating with teams from diverse geographies and functions. You have an analytical bent of mind and love data driven problem solving.
