We are on the lookout for a Director, Global Procurement - IT & Professional Services to join the Finance Team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

In the Finance Team, you’ll provide the insights and analysis that guide our business decisions, helping us meet our financial goals and earn investor confidence. From reporting to strategic planning, your work will have a direct impact on Delivery Hero’s ability to innovate, expand, and deliver outstanding experiences to our customers.
1. Vision & Strategy. Define and execute the global category strategy for IT (SaaS, Infrastructure, Hardware) and Professional Services. Balance HQ-driven standards with regional flexibility to maximize synergies, scalability, and value creation.
2. High-Stakes Negotiations. Lead complex, enterprise-level negotiations with an annual spend exceeding €50M+. Own the end-to-end lifecycle of high-value SaaS agreements and strategic professional services contracts, ensuring optimal commercial and risk outcomes.
3. Team Leadership. Build, lead, and develop a high-performing central procurement team while ensuring strong alignment with regional procurement leaders. Drive talent development, performance management, and cross-border collaboration.
4. Stakeholder Influence. Act as a trusted strategic partner to C-level executives and senior leadership teams. Transform procurement from a traditional “gatekeeper” function into a strategic business enabler.
5. Process Excellence. Drive step-change improvements in global procurement processes, ensuring robust compliance in technology sourcing while maintaining the agility required in a fast-paced, global tech environment.
6. Impact-Driven Execution. Operate within a strong ownership and zero-complaint culture. Deliver measurable bottom-line impact, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
7. 12+ years of experience in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing, with deep expertise in IT, Technology, and Professional Services categories.
8. Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-year negotiations with global vendors such as AWS, Google, Salesforce, and other large consulting firms.
9. Strong global mindset, with demonstrated experience operating in hyper-growth, decentralized, and international organizations, managing diverse stakeholders across regions and cultures.
10. Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to translate complex sourcing strategies, financial impacts, and risk considerations into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
11. Strategic and results-driven leader, with a strong track record of delivering sustainable profit optimization through strategic procurement initiatives, accountability, and disciplined execution.
12. People leader and collaborator, experienced in managing geographically dispersed teams, balancing global procurement strategies with regional requirements, and acting as a trusted ambassador of procurement to senior stakeholders.
