In the "Information Technology" department, we are looking for an IT administrator (m/f/d) for the Geesthacht campus and GERICS in Hamburg at the earliest possible date - for an indefinite period. The full-time position (39h/week) is generally also divisible.
The "Information Technology" department is an internal IT service provider and provides high-quality IT services for the center and helps customers and users to master the daily challenges and to make requirement- and demand-oriented technologies and IT services available for science and administration. The IT services cover the range of client and infrastructure services, IT solutions for commercial processes and specialized scientific requirements.

Your tasks
* First and second level support for software and hardware including peripherals, telephony and mobile devices
* Installation, setup and maintenance of end devices and user training
* Localization of malfunctions, error analysis and troubleshooting in the area of responsibility
* Creating, processing and solving tickets with documentation of the solution in the ticket system
* Technical advice and direct contact person (m/f/d) for our employees at the Geesthacht site and at GERICS in Hamburg
* Support with IT projects and the further development of our IT infrastructure
Your profile
* Successfully completed studies at a university of applied sciences (bachelor's degree, diploma [FH] in computer science, business informatics or similar) or comparable
* Ideally professional experience in administration and IT support in the Microsoft environment (Windows clients, Office365, Microsoft Teams) as well as Mac and Linux
* Sound IT expertise
* High service orientation and IT affinity
* Outgoing team player with a structured and independent way of working
* Committed, proactive, solution-oriented and conscientious
* Very good written and spoken German and English skills
