Your mission
Take over and lead our Sales Development team, who are the backbone and driving force behind our lofty but realistic sales targets. Advance the team for the future, ensuring we build a high-calibre and results-driven team.
At Emidat, we see top-of-funnel as equally important if not more so than closing deals. Without leads, there is no revenue. As the leader of our Sales Development team, you will not only be the active face of the company but will also advance and cultivate a high-calibre, proactive, and results-driven team essential for our sustained global expansion. We are searching for a hungry, competitive, and highly proactive 'Sales Leader' eager to approach people actively and build impactful relationships with our core customers: the manufacturers.
This role requires more than just sales acumen—it demands a genuine curiosity for material manufacturing and construction, as you guide your team to engage with plants producing steel, cement, and glass. This is where you connect Emidat's solution with real-world industry impact, driving customer success.
You will be supported by an exceptional team and mentors such as Mathias, who built the revenue engine at the German unicorn Forto. You will fine-tune our content engine (testing hypotheses and fine-tuning our ICP, persona and jobs-to-be-done). With this, you will 2x/3x your market value in 1-2 years and really change the industry – we take care of the growth environment, you walk the walk.
In the first 6 months, you will
Elevate and Lead a High-Calibre Team: Seamlessly assume leadership of the Sales Development function, guiding a high-performing and growing team of 10+ Sales Development Executives, Growth Associates, and interns to their next level of success.
Drive Global Expansion: Conduct high-impact market analysis to evaluate and spearhead strategic expansion into new global territories, with a focus on high-potential regions like Asia and North America.
Scale the Sales Engine: Own the design and implementation of a robust and scalable Sales Development engine, refining operating structures and processes to ensure ambitious H1 and annual revenue targets are consistently met and exceeded.
Forge Strategic Partnerships: Act as a critical cross-functional partner, collaborating closely with the Account Executive and Customer Success teams to optimize the client journey, ensure seamless hand-offs, and drive long-term client success and retention.
What you should bring to this role
Minimum Requirements
Proven Sales Excellence: Prior direct experience in a sales role (Sales Development, Account Executive, or similar) with a documented history of consistently exceeding targets.
Team Management Experience: Direct experience managing a Sales or Business Development team, including motivating and guiding them to meet and exceed sales targets.
Multilingual Competence: Business fluency in English and at least one other major European language (German is preferred, otherwise Italian, Dutch, French, or a Nordic language).
Strategic Process Design: Expertise in strategically designing and implementing scalable processes that cultivate a high-performance, results-driven sales development team.
Leadership Drive: A clear ambition to leverage your own sales achievements to transition into and excel as a team leader, advancing the team's capabilities and your own career.

Scale-up Environment: Previous experience working and thriving in a post-seed stage startup or scale-up environment.
