The Opportunity
You will be part of a highly flexible development team for the Hardware Security Modul ADYTON with members in Brussels, Aachen and abroad, so good communication skills are essential. We expect you to be able to guide them mainly in cryptographic linked software, not only in development of the software as a product based on certification needs but also in requirements analysis and in developing made-to-measure solutions for customers.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Developing security products in embedded systems for financial transactions. Defining, analyzing, developing and validating security-related applications on a Hardware Security Module ADYTON.
In your role you are responsible for clarification on customer requirements and needs. You can produce complete studies, reconciling customer needs and work jointly with the Product Manager on a product strategy. You are a technical leader able to guide off-shore and in-house teams in architecture, analysis and developments for made-to-measure customer solutions. It would be apricated if you have a good knowledge in Python and C++. The team work in an agile environment with a high demand of independent, autonomously and pro-active way to structure tasks and solve issues.
As a key member of our team, you will play a critical customer-facing role, engaging directly with clients to understand and discuss their specific requirements. You will act as a liaison between our technical teams and our customers, ensuring that their needs are accurately captured and translated into actionable plans. Your ability to communicate effectively, build strong relationships, and provide expert advice will be essential in helping our clients achieve their goals. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a deep understanding of our products and services, enabling you to offer tailored solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
On a day-to-day basis you will
* Participate in solution discussions, workshops, bid presentations.
* Work closely with regional Sales teams to address the needs of the customer, applying consultative selling techniques to advance opportunities.
* Support the Product Management team to map out the desired future state of the solution and convey vision to the team.
* Interact with senior customer contacts and internally with Worldline management at all levels.
* Prioritise, communicate and mitigate issues and risks with internal stakeholders.
Who Are We Looking For

* solid background in security (hardware and/or software) and applied cryptography
* experience with embedded systems and C, Python development
* knowledge of testing methodology (unit, integration, white/black box testing …)
* knowledge or experience in development of low level software and Linux drivers
* good knowledge of security standards like PCI PIN, PCI PTS HSM, ANSI X9.143 (TR31), ASC X9 TR34, EMVCo and similar.
* knowledge of OpenSSL and ASN.1 is a plus
