For an international customer we are looking for a Lead Engineering Manager for HVDC & Interconnector Systems (f/m/d).Your tasks will be:Develop and implement the Engineering Management Plan (EMP) and all supporting systems, ensuring structured and traceable engineering activitiesCoordinate and control engineering processes, including the management of all technical interfaces between converter stations, cable systems, and civil worksSupport the Client in all design-related processes — including design reviews, progress tracking, verification & validation, and compliance assurance with contractual and regulatory standardsManage requirements engineering, maintaining a complete, traceable, and up-to-date record of all project, environmental, and regulatory requirementsConduct value engineering to optimize lifecycle performance, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of the entire systemFacilitate effective communication and collaboration between all Client teams and stakeholders, including the Owner’s Engineer, FIDIC Engineer, and other supporting consultants or contractorsEnsure timely and compliant design documentation, supporting the permit application and regulatory approval processes as defined in the project scheduleFollowing know-how is required:Successful study of electrical Engineering (min. Master Degree of a Technical University)Minimum 5 years professional experience of project and engineering management of energy transmission systems (preferred HV DC projects) in a leading positionStrong capabilities in engineering management aligned with international standards and best practicesThe ability to establish, operate, and manage the project’s Engineering Management System (EMS) on behalf of the Client, ensuring full technical, environmental, and safety compliance throughout the project lifecycleInternational professional experience and experiences with working in international teamsGerman and English (min.
