As part of their strategic evolution, IT services have been outsourced to a third-party provider. Additionally, our partner plans to expand its offering with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for selected products.
Position Overview:
The IT Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of IT systems and services. This includes overseeing IT operations, data centers, cloud environments, and service management processes, while acting as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external IT service providers.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT strategy with business goals and future requirements
* Plan, manage, and optimize IT budgets to ensure cost-effective operations
* Oversee IT service management processes including incident, problem, and change management
* Coordinate between internal teams and the external service provider to resolve issues and improve services
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and GDPR
* Manage IT risk assessments, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
* Define and monitor performance metrics and KPIs for service providers, conducting regular performance reviews
* Manage vendor relationships, ensuring effective service delivery and contractual compliance
* Serve as the primary point of contact for IT matters between the business and the external provider
* Identify and implement service improvements and cost optimization initiatives
* Negotiate contracts and manage service agreement renewals in alignment with business needs
* Evaluate and challenge the architecture and solutions delivered by the managed service provider, ensuring alignment with scalability, security, and business requirements
Your Profile
Technical Skills:
* Strong background in IT infrastructure management, including networking, cloud, and virtualization
* Proven experience in IT service management frameworks (e.G., ITIL) and operations best practices
* Proficiency in cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory compliance
* Familiarity with monitoring and automation tools for IT operations
* Competence in IT budgeting and financial planning
* Ability to critically assess and improve IT architectures and solutions
Soft Skills:
* Strong leadership and team management capabilities
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Skilled in conflict resolution and vendor negotiation

Qualifications:
* Degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
* Approximately 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations
