We are looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist to join our team in Frankfurt, focusing on Lifecycle and Engagement across Germany and Austria.
As a Marketing Specialist, you will support and drive the ongoing development of our lifecycle and eCRM marketing activities in Germany and Austria, with a strong focus on execution, targeting quality, and continuous optimisation of client communications.
You are hands-on, self-driven, and understand the requirements of a highly regulated, complex financial product – including the necessary compliance processes.
This position is a fixed-term contract for two years.
Key responsibilities:
1. Planning, coordination, and hands-on implementation of targeted lifecycle and CRM marketing initiatives
2. Independently setting up, managing and optimising segmented and automated email campaigns via established CRM platforms (e.g. Braze)
3. Supporting EU-wide marketing campaigns with local adaptations, with a focus on CRM integration and audience targeting
4. Content creation and adaptation for eCRM, websites, social media, and campaigns (in German)
5. Alignment with the central marketing team in London and close collaboration with eCRM resources
6. Ensuring compliance approval for all regional content (e.g. following the four-eyes principle)
7. Creating and maintaining regular campaign performance reports, engagement metrics and optimisation potential
8. Contribution to EU-wide marketing initiatives with a German market focus
9. Assisting with administrative tasks (e.g. invoice handling, events, webinars)
Key experience:
10. At least 5 years of professional experience in marketing, ideally with a strong focus on eCRM, email marketing or lifecycle communications.
11. Ideally, initial exposure to the financial or insurance industry
12. German language skills (minimum C1+) and excellent English proficiency
13. University degree in marketing, communications, business, or a comparable qualification
14. Hands-on experience with email marketing / CRM tools (e.g. Braze), including segmentation and campaign setup
15. Proven experience in the planning and implementation of complex marketing campaigns
16. Strong copywriting skills and the ability to communicate messages clearly and concisely
17. Confident use of common marketing tools (Braze, CMS, Canva, Google Analytics, etc.)
18. Strong understanding of data & performance metrics, with the ability to analyse campaign performance and derive actionable insights
19. Hands-on mentality, proactive and independent work ethic, and strong team spirit
20. Willingness to dive into complex regulatory topics and requirements
