Location: Stuttgart, Germany (100% On-site, no Hybrid option) Contract Type: Permanent (Unbefristet) OR Freelance (Freiberufler) The Role You are responsible to updates for the full hardware lifecycle if a TCU ECU from initial schematic design to high-volume series production with ZUKEN CR8000 and Altium Designer. Key Responsibilities Design & Layout: Lead electronic HW development, circuit design, and PCB layout. Production Readiness: Adapt HW schematics for series production; coordinate closely with manufacturing and validation teams. Validation & Certification: Manage DVT/PVT activities, interoperability tests, and certifications with external partners and customers. Hands-on Testing: Perform HW bring-up and validation using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and TCU testing equipment. Communication: Act as the technical point of contact for automotive customers. Mandatory Technical Profile Proficiency in ZUKEN CR8000 and Altium Designer and proven track record in Automotive HW electronics. Experience with 5G (NAD modules), SoCs, and Microcontrollers. In-depth knowledge of Digital Interfaces: Ethernet, I2C, SPI, I2S, UART. Expertise in PVT/DVT processes and coordination.
