For our division Quality Management & Product Engineering, at our location in St. Katharinen, we are looking for a
2D Constructor (m / f / d)
Responsibilities
* You construct patterns for all elements of shoes, review and design footbed models, shape data, and upper modeling.
* You grade all elements and prepare them for bulk production in cooperation with the technical team.
* You create technical drawings, set up a system-based data storage, and maintain relevant documentation.
* Using your excellent communication skills, you collaborate with internal footwear engineers, 3D constructors, coordinate, and specify procedures and workflows with our plants and external service providers.
* You reconstruct models and edit corresponding data sets, continuously analyzing data for errors and optimization potential.
Qualifications
* Completed training as a design engineer or technical product designer.
* Professional experience in development and / or construction in the footwear industry.
* Extensive knowledge of 2D CAD systems (MindCAD / ClassiCAD).
* Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of 3D construction and SAP is beneficial.
* Process-oriented, careful, and accurate working methods.
* Constructive team player with self-initiative and structured thinking.
* Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
* Willingness to travel frequently.
