Head of Transactional Accounting DACH
Position Summary
Oversees and directs team to timely and effectively deliver all of the general accounting, accounts receivable, billing and payable functions, including all corresponding period reporting and controls across the region. Accountable for interfacing with external and internal customers to define needs and collaborate and identify process optimizations for the daily operations through enhanced capabilities or cost saving actions.

Key Responsibilities
* Execute a range of advanced accounting functions with senior-level expertise:
* Consistent, dependable attendance is a critical requirement for this role.
* Provide strategic leadership for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting, driving progress through innovative tools and business models such as RPAs and centralized support.
* Design and implement new initiatives, policies, and procedures to boost efficiency and strengthen controls.
* Manage the timely completion of monthly and quarterly accounting closes and related schedules, ensuring compliance with both local and global company standards.
* Oversee and guide centralized operations related to AP, AR, General Accounting, and cash application.
* Act as a mentor by offering coaching, career growth opportunities, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration within the team.
* Uphold the company’s accounting policies and internal controls rigorously.
* Contribute as a finance subject matter expert on special projects.
* Support audit processes, closing activities, and onboarding of new customers or partners.
* Perform additional duties as required.
What you bring :
* Qualifications and Education Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with at least 5 years of experience in financial analysis. Experience in Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, or Inventory Management is essential.
* Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Proven ability to organize independently and communicate professionally.
* Demonstrated management and analytical capabilities.
* Skill in synthesizing complex information.
* Focused on solutions and achieving results.
* Adaptable and open-minded, able to approach challenges from multiple angles to identify optimal solutions.

* Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of organizational data by overseeing Data Collection and Data Security practices
