About this Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Research Associate. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project focused on machine learning and cybersecurity.
The primary objective of this project is to develop a cybersecurity-oriented telemetry framework that captures and models causal dependencies in a microservice-based infrastructure.
This project involves combining probabilistic reasoning and deep learning models to develop a model capable of reasoning under uncertainty, particularly using reinforcement learning to refine AI-generated causal models.
In addition to research, the successful candidate will be involved in project management, reporting, and dissemination. This is an academic project-oriented but applied research opportunity with close collaboration.
You will have the opportunity to participate and propose other projects within the group, which focuses on various topics related to applied ML and cyber-security, including applications and security of Large Language Models.
We are looking for a collaborative team player with a desire to make a personal impact within our interdisciplinary research group. You should possess a PhD degree in Computer Science/engineering or Telecommunication Engineering,

We appreciate experience in Large Language Models, reinforcement learning, and good knowledge of networks and systems (protocols, monitoring).
Language Skills: Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are required. Knowledge of French, German, or Luxembourgish will be appreciated.
