Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our commercial teams worldwide. As Sales Director, you will be responsible for steering all commercial activities of the Medical and Veterinary Business Units globally.
About the Role:
* You will functionally lead the group's commercial teams, coordinating their efforts to meet growth objectives in both national and international markets.
* Directly manage a team of about ten staff (sales and support) across four countries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the sales strategy jointly defined with General Management.
* Functionally manage all commercial teams involved in Medical and Veterinary sales.
* Drive, motivate, and challenge teams by setting ambitious targets, deploying sales action plans, and establishing regular management rituals.
* Standardize commercial processes and disseminate best practices.
* Develop a strong results- and customer service-oriented sales culture.
Direct Management:
* Directly manage the sales and pre-sales/support team across four countries.
* Recruit, train, and develop talent to support business growth.
* Support field sales reps to enhance performance and customer proximity.
* Review and approve commercial proposals.
Business Development:
* Identify growth opportunities in existing and potential markets.
* Represent the company at trade fairs and within distribution networks.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a product offering aligned with market needs and trends.
Performance Monitoring:
* Track commercial KPIs.
* Provide regular reports to General Management on activities, results, and corrective action plans.
* Oversee sales forecasting and budget planning.
Requirements and Qualifications
Our ideal candidate has a Master's degree from a reputable business school, engineering, or equivalent institution.
They should have 7-10 years of experience in technical product sales with long sales cycles in an international environment.
Experience in medical equipment is a significant plus.
Language Skills
