The University Hospital Magdeburg is an institution under public law (A.ö.R.) and, together with the Medical Faculty of Otto von Guericke University, represents the UNIVERSITÄTSMEDIZIN MAGDEBURG. With around 1,100 beds in 27 clinics and 28 institutes and associated departments, it is the largest healthcare facility in northern Saxony-Anhalt and, in addition to research and teaching, offers the entire spectrum of multi-professional and highly specialized university maximum care.

Your Mission
You ensure that the hospital's clinical IT systems run reliably at all times and that IT failures are quickly rectified. In doing so, you make a decisive contribution to secure and stable operations - even behind the scenes.
Your Contribution
* You are responsible for the support of clinical information systems in the areas of cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, radiotherapy, pathology and other clinics
* The systems to be supported include:
* Cardiology: CCW (Clinical Cardio Workflow) from GE, ISCV+Tomtec Intellispace Cardiovascular from Philips, CWD (ClinicWindata) from Nexus E&L, Cardioy long-term ECG, SentrySuit
* Pathology / Neuropathology: CoFox information system, OMERO Open Microscopy Environment (OME)
* Radiotherapy: ARIA information system from Varian. Radiation planning systems Oncentra, Brainlab, Mosaiq.
* Cross-departmental information systems: Chili image distribution system campus-wide
* Further information systems: Sonowin from the company MESO (gastroenterology, pediatric clinic and other clinics), rpszene for ENT, 3Mensio for vascular surgery and cardiology, Intuitiv (DaVinci robot) in the OR areas, Mirror in plastic surgery, patient call system Schauf in radiation therapy and women's clinic, Alice system from the company Hein&Löwenstein in the respiratory therapy center, SEMA3 (ECG transmission) in various clinics, sentrysuite vyaire pulmonary function diagnostics in pneumology
* You support the users (m/f/d) of these information systems, record their wishes and problems and solve them in close cooperation with the companies and other colleagues from IT and medical technology
* You monitor and analyze system performance with the help of monitoring tools
* You create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and emergency plans
* You work closely with network, security and application teams to ensure the highest possible availability
* You participate in IT projects and migrations, for example storage upgrades or database consolidations
* You ensure continuous system availability with your participation in the on-call service
Your Profile
* Completed studies (e.g. computer science, business informatics) or comparable vocational training in the IT sector
* At least 3-5 years of professional experience as a system administrator (m/f/d) with the aforementioned focus areas
* Experience with imaging and image processing systems
* DICOM and HL7 knowledge
* Good knowledge of network basics (TCP / IP, VLAN, iSCSI)
* Analytical mindset, ability to work independently and high level of commitment
* Very good German language skills and a desire to work in a team

Remuneration: We offer you a fair salary based on collective agreements - depending on your qualifications and experience up to pay grade E11 according to the company collective agreement of the University Hospital Magdeburg A.ö.R.
