In 2021, Littelfuse had net sales of $2.1 billion. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Planner to join our team in Dortmund. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and controlling the efficient flow of materials, products, and information across the supply chain. You will play a key part in production planning, inventory optimization, transport coordination, supplier management, and the maintenance of data systems. Your work will directly support operational efficiency and product availability across the organization. About the job: Plan production quantities and schedules based on customer demand and available capacity Align production plans with material availability and resource constraints Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing storage and carrying costs Plan and oversee the transport of materials and finished products within the supply chain Coordinate with logistics partners and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries Monitor key supply chain metrics and KPIs Identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and support better planning decisions Maintain and manage master data in ERP and MES systems Utilize and manage supply chain planning tools and systems (e.g., SAP R/3) Ensure data accuracy and system integrity across planning tools Coordinate with internal departments (production, purchasing, logistics) and external suppliers Foster strong relationships to ensure seamless information and material flow About you: Completed university degree or vocational training in a commercial or technical field Experience in production planning and supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment Proficient in SAP R/3 and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken Strong communication skills, organizational ability, and a collaborative working style Self-driven and capable of working independently with a high attention to detail Littelfuse strives to empower associate growth and development in a culture of ongoing collaboration and respect for diverse global perspectives and expertise.
