Senior Manager, Europe - NIR Spectroscopy/Analytical Instruments Our client is a global leader in Near-Infrared (NIR) spectroscopy technology dedicated to advancing rapid, non-destructive analytical solutions. Specializing in portable and online NIR analyzers, the company serves critical industries worldwide, including agriculture, food & feed, and advanced manufacturing. With a strong foundation in innovation and quality, the company is now executing a strategic expansion into the European market, seeking to establish a dedicated leadership presence to drive growth and partnership across the region. Responsibilities Develop and Execute European Strategy: Create and lead the comprehensive business plan for Europe, identifying key markets, segments, and channels to achieve rapid market penetration and sustainable revenue growth for NIR spectrometer products. Build the Commercial Engine: Establish and manage all aspects of the regional commercial operations, including direct sales, key account management, and the development of a robust network of distributors and strategic partners. Lead Team Formation and Development: Hire, lead, and mentor a local team encompassing sales and technical support functions, fostering a high-performance culture through clear goal setting, coaching, and professional development. Drive Sales and Market Intelligence: Own the regional P&L and sales targets, conducting continuous market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities and adapting strategies proactively to ensure a competitive advantage. Cultivate Strategic Relationships: Act as the primary ambassador in Europe, building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with key customers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders. Requirements Minimum of 5 years in a commercial leadership role within the analytical instrumentation or agri‑tech sectors, with intimate knowledge of the European NIR Spectroscopy market. Proven track record at established NIR Spectroscopy industry leaders is highly preferred. Proven success in building new markets or achieving significant growth in existing territories within Europe. Solid experience in recruiting, managing, and motivating both commercial and technical teams. Expertise in both direct sales and channel/partner management models, with strong negotiation and deal‑structuring capabilities. Strategic and analytical mindset with excellent planning, execution, and problem‑solving skills. Entrepreneurial spirit, resilience, and a hands‑on approach.
