Planning & Merchandise Director (*all genders) Manage and develop the merchandise planning team. Monitor inventory levels and communicate availability. Oversee inventory management and stock replenishment. Identify market trends to drive sales. Develop local forecasts, addressing risks and opportunities. Promote sales of specific inventory items. Enhance reporting dashboards and create analytical reports. Consolidate demand and forecasts, ensuring accuracy. Participate as a member of the Regional Management Team. Collaborate closely with the Commercial Director and Management. Requirements include at least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in textile retail, with strong understanding of textiles and the competitive landscape. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in sales, margin forecasting, and promotional performance analysis. Strategic thinking and planning abilities. Proficiency in demand planning, forecast accuracy, ERP systems, and Excel. Leadership skills and team management experience. Fluency in English and German.
