Research Associate in Enzymology & Metabolism
In this role, you will contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of enzymology and metabolism.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology techniques, cell culture, biochemical assays, protein purification, and data analysis.
Main objectives include unraveling how metabolic impairments are involved in neurodegenerative diseases using genomic and postgenomic data.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and execute experiments to investigate the relationship between metabolic pathways and neurodegenerative diseases
* Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify patterns and trends
* Develop and implement novel experimental approaches to study enzyme function and regulation
Requirements:
* MSc or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
* Strong background in molecular biology techniques, cell culture, biochemical assays, protein purification, and data analysis
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
