Purpose
The Transportation Specialist is responsible for Audit-proof invoice validation, processing and ION booking of freight invoices, supporting transparency in freight costs, and supporting claim handling processing in the event of staff shortages.
Responsibilities
* Timely, audit-proof invoice validation and processing of freight invoices and credit notes from the adidas European outbound
* Assigning invoiced freight cost to the internal order of the beneficiary from the adidas European outbound
* Dispute handling for identified deviations
* Communication and solution finding with the carriers and responsible transport manager regarding requirements and deviations as well as requesting corrections / debit notes
* Input and support to optimize freight invoice processes and tools
* Tracking and monitoring achieved invoice optimizations, savings etc.
* Support in the monthly preparation of freight costs accruals
* Comparison and analysis of actual freight invoices/cost compared to expected freight cost
* Support, if needed, claims processing and starting measures to reduce issues causing claims
* Support, if needed, to provide claim statistics as well as review of these
* Regular preparation of analyzes on the development of transport costs
* Use of the current software for invoice validation and support in optimizing it
Authorization
* No limitation, all claim cases B2B and in future also B2C must be processed regardless of the extent of the claim

Minimum Qualifications
* Educated industrial / logistics clerk or bachelor’s degree in business administration
* Minimum two years’ experience in a logistics company, preferably in the area of billing
* German and English
* MS Office / Excel
* IT affinity
* Very good knowledge of SAP and WMS Application
* good analytical skills
