Your role :Functional Safety Technology and Trends visionActively monitor new automotive safety trends: products, processes, tooling.Gather information about competitors' software safety technical solutions & strategies.Benchmark and analyze competitors' software safety solutions.Anticipate internal & external safety needsRespond with urgency to customer and leadership requests regarding technical safety questions.ISO 26262 (FuSa) & ISO / PAS 8800 (Safety and AI)Participate in ISO committees to influence and analyze compliance needs.Engage in relevant software international organizations, including tooling.Software Safety Technical Leadership, Project Support and InnovationProvide technical leadership to influence Aptiv safety architecture.Lead deployment of Model / Software in the Loop safety activities.Lead adaptation of LET paradigm in software design to improve system reliability and safety.Build relationships with Principal System and Hardware Functional Safety Engineers to develop synergies.Create a network within Aptiv Safety & SW communities across teams.Support leadership requests with urgency.Define safety requirements and responsibilities for teams and suppliers.OperationSupport customer projects end-to-end upon request.Engage in safety escalation for problem resolutionDrive safety-compliant Linux solutions strategy and promote adoption.Process Development and TrainingMentor engineering and safety teams on safety policies and lifecycle processes.Contribute to safety process improvements based on lessons learned and new requirements.Promote MIL/SIL deployment through safety perspectives.Integrate safety lifecycle processes into DevOps / CI-CD.Support development of methods and tools for streamlining safety development, including AI assistance.Your background :Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, IT, or similar.Good knowledge of ADAS/ADS/Cockpit systems and SDV/SVA.Strong understanding of automotive regulations and standards.Deep knowledge of ISO 26262 (FuSa) & ISO / PAS 8800 (Safety and AI).Experience with MIL/SIL (Model / Software in the Loop).Expertise in FFI concept, SW safety analysis (FMEA, FTA), and safety tools.Knowledge of SW partitioning and mixed criticality systems.Strong understanding of Operating Systems, especially Linux, and safety solutions.Knowledge of AUTOSAR and the LET paradigm.Familiarity with A-SPICE 4.0 and automotive development processes.Proven leadership skills.Ability to teach and listen to teamsAbility to interpret global ecosystem trends impacting APTIV.Fluent in English; German skills are a plus.Why join us?Growth opportunities at Aptiv in an inclusive environment.Impact: contributing to a safer world.Aptiv Benefits :Flexible work environment.International professional growth and training opportunities.Recognition programs.Community engagement opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
