Profile Overview
We're looking for a hands-on, product-obsessed CEO to lead DAKboard into its next stage of growth. You'll be responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of a product that's already loved by its community and primed for expansion.
You'll work closely with our small, talented team (currently six people in the US) to make DAKboard even more intuitive, delightful, and indispensable for families, professionals, and SMBs worldwide. You'll also take full P&L ownership and take on initiatives to expand distribution internationally, optimize onboarding and retention, and position DAKboard as the go-to solution in the smart display market.
This is a rare opportunity to scale a profitable SaaS company with a strong user base, lean team, and enormous potential for impact.
Your immediate impact in the first 3-6 months will be:
* Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap that sets DAKboard apart in the smart display space.
* Start delivering on quick win initiatives, such as international expansion, new distribution channels, and product enhancements.
* Begin implementing product improvements based on customer feedback and competitive analysis.
Your responsibilities
* Own and drive the product vision and strategy, ensuring DAKboard remains the most customizable and user-friendly smart display platform.
* Oversee all business operations including product development, marketing, sales, and customer support.
* Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities including international expansion and new distribution channels.
* Develop and execute an effective product-led growth strategy to drive user acquisition, conversion, and retention.
* Manage the company's P&L with a focus on sustainable growth in key SaaS metrics.
* Manage, mentor, and grow a small, dedicated team, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and customer-centricity.
What You bring to the table
* Proven experience in senior product leadership within SaaS, ideally with a consumer-facing product, and a strong track record of shaping product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and go-to-market execution.
* A product-obsessed mindset with a passion for building elegant, user-centric solutions that delight customers and drive growth.
* Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of SaaS business models, metrics, and data-driven decision-making.
* Comfort managing a small, lean team in a fast-paced environment.
* Entrepreneurial, scrappy mindset with the ability to roll up your sleeves.
* Experience with or understanding of businesses with both software and hardware components is an advantage.
