The resource will be included in the team operating in the structure. Main responsibilities related to the position are the management of genetically modified colonies in isolators. Performs daily colony health examinations and clinical observations of sick animals prior to reporting adverse findings to Clinical Veterinarian. • Assist with maintaining Rodent Colony Health surveillance program and submission. • Provides technical support • Actively interacts with management, facility veterinarian (s) and investigators as required to solve customer requests, inquiries, and complaints and to provide technical assistance. • Provides environmental enrichment feed and other enrichment stimuli and / or provide behavioral assessments. • As needed, performs animal husbandry - which can include feed, watering, and cleaning cages as required.
