The IT Service Portfolio Manager role is a strategic position that oversees the management and evolution of the IT Service Portfolio to ensure alignment, transparency, and efficiency in delivering IT services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Portfolio Management: Standardize, secure, and reuse IT service tailoring to achieve consistency and reduce complexity.
* Service Delivery: Measure and report on IT service delivery performance against business criticality on a global scale.
Strategic responsibilities include aligning and continuously developing the IT Service Portfolio and its operability, ensuring transparency and consistency across current, future, and end-of-life IT services. Additionally, defining and governing service design principles, structures, and documentation standards is crucial for this role.
Collaboration and Communication
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with financial management, IT controlling, demand management, service implementation, and operations teams to drive business objectives.
* Reporting and Analysis: Provide KPI-based regular IT service portfolio reporting (e.g., SLA compliance, utilization, financials, performance) and risk management insights to stakeholders.
This role requires engaging with service owners, catalogue managers, and other portfolio stakeholders, participating in regular meetings and workshops with adjacent departments, and driving the maturity of IT service management across the organization.
