Job Title: Electrical Data Centre Commissioning Managers

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and pragmatic Electrical Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities across high-profile data centre projects in Manchester and Frankfurt. This role is critical in ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely handover of electrical systems—balancing project progress, cost, and operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the end-to-end electrical commissioning process across both UK and European sites.
* Coordinate with General Contractors, Commissioning Authorities (CxA), and internal teams to deliver results-focused commissioning aligned with project milestones.
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational impact, with zero disruption to live environments.
* Make informed, timely decisions that consider cost, time, quality, and business risk appetite .
* Provide technical leadership during site challenges, using sound judgement to escalate issues only when necessary.
* Drive clear planning and seamless execution of commissioning phases, from preparation through to final acceptance.
What You’ll Bring:
* A solid understanding of electrical power systems, including UPS, generators, PDUs, and switchgear .
* Working knowledge of cooling infrastructure such as CRAC units, chillers, and containment strategies .
* Familiarity with DCIM tools and Building Management Systems (BMS) .
* Proficiency with commissioning documentation and procedures including MOPs, SOPs, and related protocols.
* Proven ability to safely bring equipment online or offline in live environments without operational disruption.
* Strong site presence with the ability to assess and respond to unforeseen issues with clarity and confidence.
* Resilience in adapting to late-stage design, equipment, or scope changes .
* Common-sense approach to managing stakeholders and teams with a sharp focus on progress and outcomes .
