Since more than 20 years before was ESG a part of Schaefer Oesterle GmbH and was responsible for the new projects`development and implementation, and industrial support of the projects for Schaefer Oesterle production sites in Germany and Hungary. Since 2018 Schaefer Oesterle integrated into Eurostyle Systems company, part of GMD Group. Now ESG is responsible for the new projects also at the Eurostyle Systems Branch level.AufgabenAs Acquisition Costing Leader, you play a critical role during the project acquisition phase. You are responsible for evaluating the technical and economic feasibility of customer requests and formalizing costed proposals that align with business goals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and competitive solutions for our clients.Key Responsibilities:Analyze and assess customer requirements and RFQs (Requests for Quotation)Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Quality, Logistics, Purchasing) to gather technical and financial inputsEvaluate the feasibility of customer projects in terms of cost, timeline, and technical complexityDefine and quantify the resources required (man-hours, investments, tools, etc.)Prepare detailed project costings, including products, processes, tooling, and engineering activitiesPresent and explain costing files and technical proposals to internal stakeholders and customersFacilitate acquisition phase meetings and ensure alignment across departmentsSuggest technical or process alternatives to improve the quality/cost/timing balanceContinuously update and improve costing databases and tools based on project feedback and learningsProfilEducation & Experience:Degree in Engineering (Master’s or equivalent), preferably in plastics processing, mechanical, or industrial engineering3-5 years of relevant experience in project costing, preferably in an industrial environmentStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in plastic injection, tooling, assembly, and sheathingTechnical Skills:Proficient in costing techniques and project budgetingExperience working with ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelAbility to translate technical inputs into clear cost estimationsFamiliarity with collaborative tools (e.g., Teams, Outlook, SharePoint)Knowledge of quality and process optimization principlesSoft Skills:Strong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyClear communicator with the ability to collaborate across departmentsCustomer-oriented mindset with a sense of ownership and responsibilityAdaptable, curious, and proactive in identifying cost-saving opportunitiesWir bietenWe offer you the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing company.
