You will maximize BD’s benefit for this platform by driving strategic procurement initiatives, employing powerful sourcing techniques and robust Supplier Relationship Management. Responsibilities Demonstrate BD Leadership Standards and Values Lead strategic initiatives and take ownership to drive supplier projects efficiently and effectively Manage supplier relationships and contracts for assigned suppliers; develop multi‑year value plans with the preferred supply base Source and deploy preferred supply base to new product development programs, ensuring adherence to approved category strategies Provide hands‑on escalation support for critical supplier issues (delivery, cost, quality) Support implementation of category strategies: project management, stakeholder communication, reporting, market research, business requirements analysis, opportunity assessment, supplier identification, selection, risk mitigation, negotiation, and contract execution Achieve total cost savings, cash, and supply chain risk mitigation targets defined in the business strategic plans Preferred Requirements Strong project management skills, including governance (planning & monitoring) Preferably minimum 3 years of international experience in a project management role Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English Advanced negotiation skills and understanding of supplier/component cost structures Strong storytelling ability and presentation skills Ability to work cross‑functionally and engage with diverse teams Successful track record of strategic procurement initiatives with considerable business impact Preferably solid understanding of electro‑mechanical category and market trends This position can be full‑time or part‑time based on need and individual agreement.
