Position Title Senior Hardware Development Engineer Position Type Employment Start Date ASAP Duration Perm Location Near Stuttgart Contact: Jo | +49 (0) 89 23889842 Your Responsibilities: As the hardware development expert, lead the internal standardization of electronic hardware design, development, verification and documentation process for electronic automotive sensors and actuators. Responsible for the inspection and correction of the electronic designs, electrical specifications and related deliverables for customers. Configuration management of the versions and templates of ECAD software and electronic development documents. Support the RFQ of automotive sensors and actuators for EU-American OEMs and Tier 1s, responsible for the electronic design in the technical solution for customers. Keep good contact of electronic suppliers for the updated technologies and applications for pre-development. Support the global purchasing planning and decision making on ICs and electronic components used for across different product lines. Support the planning and implementation of FMEA, DV and PV tests and Functioanal Safety Fault-injection tests in the product development Your Profile: University degree of Bachelor or above in electronics/mechatronics/automation/physics. 4+ years of working experience in the automotive electronics industry. Good knowledge of position and speed sensors and their applications in powertrain or electric drive systems. Familiar with prototype and product development processes, and having experiences in product verification and validation according to the ISO and OEM standards. Very skillfull in EMC-based PCB design and design rules for high speed applications and power electronics by using EDA softwares e.g. Altium/Cadence/PAD/Multism, and in electrical circuit simulation by EDA software or in PSpice/LTSpice for design verification and interpretation. Good knowledge of automotive qualifications and tolerance level for electronic components and materials Knowledge of or working experience related to Functional Safety according to ISO 26262 is preferred Fluently in English all other languages are an advantage especially Chinese language.
