We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Software Engineer (f/m/d) to join our dynamic team based in Darmstadt. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the advancement of our industry-leading solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Designing and developing software for advanced Machine Vision Solutions
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement software platform solutions
* Evaluating and validating emerging embedded processor technologies
* Coordinating with hardware development teams to ensure seamless integration
* Leveraging your expertise in image processing for embedded systems
* Implementing standardized software interfaces in alignment with industry best practices
Requirements:
* Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline
* Proven experience in software development for embedded systems, with a focus on hardware-related aspects
* Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ for embedded (Linux) operating systems
* Additional knowledge in areas such as Linux Kernel Configuration or Development, Image Processing product development, or FPGA/Real-time software development is highly desirable
* Familiarity with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, V-Model, and Software Deployment practices
* Strong commitment to producing high-quality software solutions that are readable, maintainable, and testable
* Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken German and English
