Responsibilities:
1. Collaboration in our modern, globally connected development center for thermoplastics in Maisach near Munich
2. Development of innovative specialty products and technical customer support in an international environment
3. Application of your solid knowledge in plastics processing and chemistry to optimize our product portfolio
4. Transfer of laboratory developments into practical technical applications
5. Creative contribution to next-generation products and active participation in shaping the global development strategy
6. Conducting laboratory and pilot plant trials as well as joint customer tests together with the sales team
7. Diverse tasks ranging from development and patent research to formulation management in SAP
8. Close cooperation with internal departments and selected customers to successfully implement projects
Qualifications:
9. You have a completed degree in Chemistry or a related field, ideally combined with relevant professional experience in a similar role.
10. You have experience in polymer-related chemistry and/or in the processing of thermoplastic plastics.
11. You have experience in formulating specialty chemicals under laboratory conditions, ideally combined with practical knowledge of transferring laboratory developments to an industrial scale.
12. Through originality and creativity, you are able to contribute to sustainable development and are willing and open to supporting production when needed.
13. You enjoy working in a global, multicultural R&D team.
14. You have very good written and spoken German and English skills to communicate with our multinational sales team.
15. You are well organized and able to structure and prioritize activities transparently with regard to target deadlines in order to deliver the required results on time.
16. You have good IT skills, preferably including basic knowledge of SAP.
