The SAP S/4HANA Developer (m/f/d) plays an important role in shaping and advancing this landscape. The role combines technical excellence with close collaboration across IT and business, contributing to high‑quality SAP solutions, smooth integrations and sustainable system improvements in an international environment.
This is what you can expect
* Reviewing and applying SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP development guidelines to ensure high‑quality, future‑proof solutions
* Translating business requirements into technical solutions using modern S/4HANA development tools
* Designing, developing and enhancing SAP Fiori applications, with a strong focus on performance and user experience
* Collaborating with integration teams to deliver SAP solutions for external system integrations using modern APIs, OData services and middleware tools
* Ensuring smooth and reliable data and process flows between SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP and external systems
* Providing third‑level support for complex technical issues to ensure operational continuity
* Acting as a technical sparring partner in internal projects, supporting solution design and implementation
* Managing and reviewing ATC quality checks for external developments to ensure code compliance, performance optimization and system stability
This is what you need to be successful in this role
* Strong hands‑on skills in SAP S/4HANA development, including ABAP / ABAP OO, OData and SAP Fiori
* Solid understanding of SAP business processes across multiple modules, including SAP Workflows
* Practical experience with system integrations, e.g. IDoc, SOAP, REST APIs, iFlows or comparable technologies
* Good knowledge of SAP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and development standards
* Experience using SAP ATC (Automated Test Cockpit) to ensure code quality, compliance and performance
* Ability to work effectively in complex SAP landscapes with a focus on stability, maintainability and performance
* Structured, collaborative and ownership‑driven working style
* Fluent English; additional languages are a plus
