Job Description
* You will generate CAR T-cells from primary human material using isolation, activation, transduction, and expansion techniques.
* You will perform co-culture assays to validate CAR T-cell performance, including cytotoxicity, phenotyping, and cytokine production measurements.
* You will employ 3D and 2D imaging workflows for the characterization of the tumor microenvironment.
* You will test novel reagents for 3D imaging to characterize tumor cells.
* This position offers you a unique opportunity to obtain your Master’s degree while staying abreast of the latest developments in therapies and the field of imaging.
Qualifications
* You are an enrolled student and have a Bsc. degree in biology.
* You should be familiar with cellular biology techniques e.g. isolation of PBMC, lentiviral transduction, and co-culture systems.
* You should have basic imaging skills, such as fluorescence and confocal microscopy as well as histological techniques e.g H&E & Immunohistochemistry.
* You are well organised, flexible, and conscientiously document your laboratory results.
* You are curious and eager to learn.
* Teamwork and open communication are part of your key values.
* You are fluent in English.
