Lenovo is seeking highly talented and motivated researchers with demonstrated experience in wireless research and standardization to join our world-class wireless research groups based in Frankfurt and Munich. (Either location is suitable for this role).What will you be doing:•Identify complex problems and design advanced, yet practical solutions for massive MIMO systems•Improve signaling and related procedures in PHY/MAC for highly efficient and reliable wireless links•Contribute to standardization in various forms (such as contributions, email-discussions, etc.), engage in discussions and defend our proposals with solid technical reasoning•Implement novel solutions in the state-of-art link/system level simulator•Identify complex problems and design advanced, yet practical solutions for massive MIMO systems, resource allocation, ultra-reliable and low-latency wireless links among other areas•Collaborate with excellent minds and make a difference to the future generation of wireless communication and drive the future of wireless communications•Represent Lenovo as a delegate at standardization forums such as 3GPP and contribute to the on-going efforts towards 5G standards•Act at the forefront in demonstrating the current and future wireless technologies and guiding our business groups with strong relevance to our activitiesRequirements:•Advanced degree (Masters/PhD.) is required with major in wireless communication and or signal processing•Solid understanding of wireless fundamentals including digital communication methods, signal processing, information theory, channel modeling, channel coding, digital and hybrid MIMO architectures.•At least 5 years of experience in wireless industry is a must including three or more years of experience in IEEE research.
