Director of Manufacturing (m/w/d) – Industrial Laser Systems and Components

Your responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all manufacturing operations across multiple specialized departments
* Drive manufacturing process improvements to enhance quality, throughput, and operational efficiency
* Develop and implement robust planning and scheduling methodologies to optimize production flow and resource utilization
* Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance, identify gaps, and drive accountability
* Champion lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and improve value delivery across the organization
* Lead cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality and delivery standards
* Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and R&D to ensure seamless product development and industrialization
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
* Build and mentor high‑performing teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Your profile:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field
* Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in high‑tech manufacturing, preferably in optics, photonics, or laser systems
* Proven track record in managing large‑scale, vertically integrated operations
* Expertise in lean manufacturing, production planning, KPI systems, and cost optimization
* Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills
* Fluent in German and English
