Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and inspiring leader to head our Sales and Service Subsidiary in Germany as General Manager. Based in Ostfildern, this key leadership role will drive sustainable growth, shape sales and service excellence, and ensure operational efficiency across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead the Sales and Service Subsidiary in Germany, overseeing a team of ~180 employees.
* Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies aligned with company objectives.
* Maintain continuous communication and collaboration with the EMEA Regional Director and headquarters.
* Implement and monitor relevant processes to ensure operational excellence.
* Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
* Continuously improve sales and service activities.
* Plan and control annual sales and cost budgets.
* Provide strong leadership and foster the professional development of the team.
* Ensure compliance with company processes, policies, and regulations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a General Manager or Sales Director, preferably in the instrumentation/process industry.
* Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or a related field; an additional degree in Economics is advantageous.
* Extensive experience in B2B sales management.
* Fluent in German and English, both written and oral.
* In‑depth understanding of sales and service management processes.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute result‑oriented sales strategies.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
* Profound knowledge of the German market.
