Cloud Architect Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Cloud Architect to join our IT team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing innovative cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to IT projects through business analysis, feasibility studies, architecture design, technical planning, and hands-on build activities.
* Coordinate and oversee external consultants.
* Define and implement support and maintenance processes.
* Ensure quality documentation and smooth handover to operational teams.
* Resolve incidents and service requests in collaboration with support teams.
* Deliver and organize end-user trainings.
* Propose and implement service improvement initiatives.
* Contribute to defining and updating IT policies, SLAs, KPIs, and internal controls.
* Promote and support the company's IT strategy, particularly around Office 365, IAM, and Digital Workplace solutions.
* Coordinate cross-departmental and cross-BU collaboration efforts.
* Proactively enhance your own skills and keep up to date with technology trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A passionate and experienced Cloud Architect who combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative mindset and the drive to innovate.
* A university degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
* A Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or similar certification.
* A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in IT and Azure Cloud technologies.
* A proven track record working with Microsoft Azure across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments, including cloud migration projects.
* Strong technical know-how across: Azure technologies (Integration Services, API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Event Grid, etc.), cloud adoption strategies, Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams), Intune, Identity and Access Management (Active Directory, Entra), Power Platform and PowerShell scripting, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Cloud App Security.
* A solid understanding of network design and Azure-specific security objectives.
* Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake and/or AWS cloud services are considered strong assets.
* Familiarity with IT Project and Service Management frameworks (PMI PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, ITIL).
* Excellent written and spoken English; French or German are considered assets.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
