Job Description
For our purchasing department, we are looking for an intern (m/f/diverse) for
3-6 months
, who can
start as soon as possible
and will actively support our team in the business area Replacement Tires EMEA. You will get to know our organization and processes with which we implement and continuously develop our strategic and operational fields of action in purchasing. You will support the purchasing team strategically and operationally with your own projects.
Responsibilities include:
* Support in the implementation of purchasing processes standardization
* Collaboration in the optimization of system-supported purchasing processes and the definition of application requirements with regards to efficiency increases
* Procurement-side coordination of the technical integration process for onboarding new suppliers into the internal ERP infrastructure
* Participation in the creation of purchasing-relevant analyses, KPI's and reports (PowerBI, Oracle Database)
* Support in communication between central and regional users, especially within Europe
* Support in international tenders and negotiation meetings
Qualifications
* Students (m/f/diverse) in the field of Industrial Engineering, Business computing, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or comparable fields of study
* Ideally, initial practical experience in purchasing, logistics, project management
* Confident handling of MS Office programs
* Fluent German and English language skills both written and spoken
* Analytical thinking with a passion for processes and systems
* Teamwork, organizational and communication skills
