As a Diagnostic Architect with a focus on ODX and diagnostic documentation, you develop and optimize the systematics, methodology, tools, and structure for ODX data and diagnostic documentation.
You work in a global and agile team within TRATON and contribute to the conceptualization, further development, and integration of diagnostic documentation into the existing and future toolchain. You consider the entire process from defining the relevant data and artifacts for internal and external control units, enriching them in the software development process, to preparing them in the corresponding backend systems and applying them in diagnostic testers. In close coordination with the adjacent departments and considering the requirements from cyber security and new diagnostic technologies (e.g., SOVD), you define standardized, data-driven, and automated procedures for creating diagnostic documentation.
Your Tasks
* You develop and optimize the existing MAN ODX data structure, including the JAVA jobs used
* You update the ODX authoring guidelines
* You design and develop a test framework to secure diagnostic description data
* You optimize and automate the existing MAN ODX toolchain, including input data formats, interfaces, and mapping in the central development database
* You coordinate and collaborate in developing concepts for data-driven creation of diagnostic description data within the TRATON group
* You develop and enhance existing diagnostic documentation standards, considering new technologies
Your Qualifications
* You have professional experience in electronic control unit development, especially in vehicle diagnostics and software updates
* You possess expert knowledge in the structure, format, and application of the ODX diagnostic description format (ISO 22901)
* You have expert knowledge of ODX tools, especially Vector CANDELAStudio
* You have comprehensive knowledge of the UDS diagnostic protocol and its application (ISO 14229) on CAN (DoCAN) and especially on Ethernet (DoIP)
* You have software development experience and experience in tool development
* You possess programming skills in Java, Python, C#, and C++
* You have knowledge of service-oriented communication and service-oriented diagnostics (SOVD)
* You are familiar with the relevant requirements from Cyber Security in the field of diagnostics
* You have experience using JIRA and Confluence
* You have fluent English skills, both written and spoken
* You ideally have experience working in agile teams
