Job Mission
We facilitate investment activities or provide investment services as professionals of the financial sector, governed by the Law of 5 April 1993 on the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate business models of a portfolio of investment companies and assess risks they face
* Ensure regulatory compliance of investment firms through prudential reporting and internal control functions
* Conduct legal research and resolve issues related to regulations applicable to investment firms
* Implement CSSF's legal powers and manage enforcement procedures for investment firms
* Collaborate with department specialists on AML/CTF issues and contribute to expertise development in regulatory matters
Your Profile
* Bachelor's degree in law (preferably with a focus on financial law or economic law) or economics, finance, or management
* Advantageous: certificate of complementary training in Luxembourg law (CCDL), PhD in law, or first work experience in a renowned local law firm or supervisory authority
* Good knowledge of regulatory framework, administrative law, and enforcement procedures
* Basic knowledge of financial analysis or data mining is an asset
* Excellent writing, analytical, and synthesis skills; perfect proficiency in French and English
The successful candidate will be employed as a public employee under a permanent contract, with the option to apply for civil servant status if meeting required conditions.
