The culturally diverse is primarily interested in basic research questions concerning how cereal inflorescences, called spikes, develop and how this contributes to yield formation.
Your Tasks:
1. You will be trained on wheat flower biology and detailed phenotyping.
2. You will be phenotyping wheat flowers macroscopically and microscopically in the greenhouse and field.
3. You analyze your data and interpret results. Additionally, you are involved in post-harvest processing work.
Your qualifications and skills:
4. You have an BSc degree in agriculture, biology, or any related field.
5. You like microscopy and plant phenotyping (previous exposure to this in cereals is an advantage).
6. You possess solid English skills, which are necessary to work in our multicultural environment.
