As a Senior Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d) with mobile focus for our online services you are involved in all parts of the product life cycle: enjoy working on end-to-end product development, bringing in your mobile frontend experience and helping to improve our backend systems. 1. Feature Development: You drive the development of customer-facing features, from idea over user experience tests to implementation
2. Technical Leadership: You provide technical leadership and direction to the team, helping define the team’s roadmap, architecture, processes, and best practices
3. Platform Improvement: You participate in the Community of Practice to improve platform wellness within the organization, including bringing ideas for improvement and taking ownership of the next step
4. Frontend Development: You create web-based user interfaces and tools and help us build our mobile frontend tech stack
5. Code Quality: You write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices
6. Collaboration & Communication: You can unblock yourself, support and effectively communicate cross-functionally in order to achieve results
7. Technical Expertise: You seamlessly convert data structures, design scalable solutions that work across multiple teams and proactively identify bug-prone areas in the code
8. Design & UX Focus: You are passionate about user experience, interaction design and responsive design
9. Adapt to fast-paced Changes: You are interested in some of the latest trends of software engineering: build systems, test automation and continuous delivery
Your fitness level
10. Frontend Expertise: You have at least 5 years of hands-on experience and proficiency in frontend development and running web services
11. Web Technology Proficiency: You are a native web technologist with excellent HTML and CSS skills—complex UIs are no challenge for you—and you possess advanced TypeScript knowledge
12. Mobile PWA Enthusiast: You are passionate about building mobile progressive web apps. Experience in Ionic Framework, Ionic Portals, Capacitor, and debugging native apps is a big plus
13. API integration and strategic state management expertise: You areexperienced in integrating APIs, organising data into state and efficiently managing it using TanStack Query, Recoil, Jotai and any other state manager, with an understanding of the nuances of when they are needed or not
14. Design System Knowledge: You have experience working with design systems like MUI or custom-built solutions as well as unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
15. Backend Understanding: You are familiar with the Node environment and have some backend development experience—NodeJS and RESTful are a must, while Java or Golang is a plus
16. CI/CD Proficiency: You have experience building pipelines and a strong understanding of end-to-end continuous delivery
17. Database Experience: You have some experience working with databases, including running scripts, debugging by reviewing database structures, and hands-on experience with SQLite is a plus
Your training goal for your first 6 months
18. Ownership & Delivery: You take full ownership of your work, understand its architecture, and deliver on product requirements while continuously improving testability and functionality
19. System Knowledge: You are familiar with the EGYM ecosystem and understand the roles of different teams within the software engineering department
20. Team Integration: You seamlessly blend into the team and company culture
21. Codebase Proficiency: You are proficient in working with and effectively contributing to our codebase
