Working Student (m/w/d) in Hydropower and Water Resources
In the field of hydropower and water resources, we develop and implement international infrastructure projects – from dams and pumped storage plants to complex river systems – and support our clients through all planning and implementation phases.
What you can achieve with us:
1. You will support our Planning & Development team in working on exciting projects
2. You will be actively involved in topics such as hydraulic and hydrological modelling, risk analyses for droughts and floods, and strategies for water resource and sediment management
3. You will participate in the creation of master plans, feasibility studies, detailed plans, and the construction supervision of water management facilities
4. You will use GIS and remote sensing tools for data collection and analysis and assist with the integration of AI into engineering workflows
5. You will participate in the preparation of project documents, presentations, and documents for internal and external partners and gain insights into international projects
What convinces us:
6. You are pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering with a focus on hydraulic engineering and technical hydromechanics or a comparable degree program
7. You are confident in using MS Office; basic knowledge of GIS, modelling software, or programming languages (e.g., Python) is a plus
8. You work in a structured and independent manner, have strong analytical skills, and a high sense of responsibility
9. Fluent English skills round off your profile; additional language skills are welcome
