As an experienced Plant Finance Manager you will offer exceptional strategic and operational financial leadership at our Wuppertal site. This position presents an outstanding opportunity to engage with innovative individuals and generate a significant impact!
A Day in the Life
1. Deliver strategic and operational financial oversight to the Wuppertal Plant team and Plant Director
2. Lead plant financial scorecard management, continuous improvement initiatives, inventory/production analysis, and other financial decisions
3. Coordinate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual processes, including month-end close and costing activities
4. Collaborate with business segments and Global Supply Chain to support investment financial return analysis
5. Analyze plant spend and identify efficiency improvement opportunities
6. Measure and assess plant performance regularly to drive corrective actions
7. Develop understanding of financial impacts from sales volume, mix, and supply planning dynamics
8. Monitor external economic factors to support plant management decisions
9. Standardize reporting processes and ensure compliance to Global Financial Standards and Statutory requirements
Keys to Success
Education & Experience
10. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration
11. 8 years of experience in finance organizations
12. 5 years of finance experience within Manufacturing
13. CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification
14. Experience managing Income Statement
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
15. SAP knowledge in Manufacturing
16. Proven leadership and partnership skills
17. Ability to lead through others and influence
18. Driven to deliver results quickly, agilely and with high quality
19. Strong record of career progression with growing responsibilities
