Pre- Sales Engineer — Virtualization & Cloud Platform Infrastructure (EMEA) Virtuozzo is a leading provider of virtualization and cloud infrastructure software, enabling service providers, ISVs, and enterprises to deliver secure, robust, and hyper-converged platforms for launching applications and cloud services. We are currently expanding our Pre-Sales team in EMEA and are looking for a seasoned Pre– Sales Engineer who is based in Europe to support our growing partner and customer network. This role is ideal for someone who understands both the technical depth of cloud platform solutions and the business strategy behind modern infrastructure decisions. What You’ll Be Doing Act as a trusted technical advisor to prospects, customers, and partners throughout the sales cycle Lead technical discovery, solution architecture, and product demonstrations tailored to each customer’s needs Translate customer business challenges into clear technical solutions using Virtuozzo’s platform Participate in defining account strategies with the wider sales team to support partner engagement, customer onboarding, and long-term success Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Support teams to communicate customer feedback, guide roadmap discussions, and shape delivery Develop responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, articulating our technical value clearly and effectively Support pre-sales activities, including workshops, trials, technical presentations, and proof-of-concepts Maintain up-to-date knowledge through product training, internal certifications, and industry learning Build long-term relationships with customers and partners, serving as a technical advocate and solution champion Help evolve our internal documentation, customer success references, and technical sales enablement materials What You Bring Strong experience in solution selling, especially in virtualization, cloud platforms, or IT infrastructure and related to IT infrastructure Proven ability to translate business needs into technical features and vice versa Deep knowledge of modern architectures, deployment models, configuration management, and performance tuning Excellent consulting and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at every level — from engineers to CXOs Customer-first mindset and ability to influence complex buying processes in both enterprise and service provider settings Track record of successful pre-sales or post-sales technical work in B2B software or infrastructure environments Project management or customer onboarding experience is a plus Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems is preferred Fluent in English — both written and spoken, since our customers are located worldwide German language — conversational level will be an advantage What We Offer Flexible hours and remote work options Space for creativity and experimentation within the company’s goals Share Options – everyone shares in our success with share options We help our team get private medical insurance Supportive, engineering-driven culture with minimal bureaucracy The chance to influence how the market changes A smart, friendly team that values reliability, simplicity, and automation Depending on your location and preferred employment method, other perks and benefits apply If you enjoy working at the intersection of technology and business and want to shape cloud infrastructure adoption across E MEA with an experienced and committed team — we’d like to hear from you.
