For our site in Oranienburg, we are looking for an experienced leader who combines operational excellence with modern leadership, technical understanding and a clear eye for safe and efficient processes.
Your role
As Plant Manager, you will take responsibility for our 24/7 production site in Oranienburg: for people, machines and results. Together with your team, you will ensure safe and efficient operations as well as compliance with quality and regulatory standards. You will shape the continuous development of the site in close collaboration with local and international colleagues.
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the Oranienburg production site
• Leading and developing a cross-functional team (production, maintenance and logistics)
• Further developing processes in line with lean management and continuous improvement
• Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and acting as the point of contact for authorities
• Managing relevant KPIs as well as budget and cost control
• Promoting an open, appreciative and responsible leadership culture
Your profile
• Several years management experience in an industrial production environment, ideally in a (continuous) shift operation
• Preferably a degree in a technical or business-related subject, e.g. engineering, business administration, industrial engineering or similar
• A strong understanding of industrial processes and machinery, health and safety, and operational procedures
• Business management knowledge with proven experience in managing costs and production metrics
• Experience and a proven track record in continuous improvement processes and lean methods are essential
• A structured, solution-oriented and pragmatic approach to work
• Strong communication skills, a sense of responsibility and a collaborative leadership style
• Very good German and good English language skills
