Responsibilities
1. Design Leadership
* Lead and manage design projects, ensuring alignment with brand identity and project goals
* Develop and present design concepts, sketches, and 3D models to stakeholders
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and interns
2. Concept Development
* Create innovative and forward-thinking design concepts for both interior and exterior vehicle components
* Conduct research and trend analysis to inform design decisions
* Collaborate with the design team to iterate and refine concepts
3. Collaboration
* Work closely with engineering, product planning, and marketing teams to ensure design feasibility and integration
* Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback
* Engage with suppliers and external partners to source materials and technologies
4. Execution
* Develop detailed design specifications and CAD models for production
* Oversee the development of prototypes and mock-ups
* Ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements
5. Project Management
* Manage project timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met
* Maintain organized documentation of design processes and decisions
* Communicate project status and progress to leadership and stakeholders
Requirements
1. Qualifications
* Education: Major in Automotive Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
* Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as Alias, CATIA, Rhino, Photoshop, and other industry-standard tools ·Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing a range of innovative automotive designs and successful projects
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively
* Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
