We are looking for a Country Quality & Sustainability Manager Germany (m/f/d) based in Bad Schwartau.
This is what you can expect:
1. Ensure regulatory and Hero Standards compliance for products
2. Ensure regulatory compliance of product labels for all product categories for country of sales
3. Review product labels in the AMS system
4. Ensure GFSI and Hero Standard compliance of local Quality Management Systems
5. Implementation, maintenance, and full management of the "IFS Broker Agent" quality management system
6. Development and monitoring of quality systems to ensure compliance with EU standards
7. Active collaboration with the international HERO quality team, participation in regular meetings, and implementation of requirements for local activities in Germany
8. Planning, organizing, supporting, and participating in internal and external audits, processing results, and monitoring the fulfillment of corrective measures
9. Employee training in certification and ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards
10. Cooperation with production plants to ensure compliance with quality and food safety requirements
11. Participation in strategic planning and quality development across the organization
This is what you need to be successful in this role:
12. University degree
13. At least 5 years of experience in quality management within the food industry
14. Expertise with local and national food laws and compliance requirements
15. Professional proficiency in English and German
16. Analytical skills and attention to detail
17. Proven experience in quality management, ideally within the food industry
18. Strong knowledge of GFSI standards, EU regulations, and quality management systems
19. Experience in internal audit planning, execution, and corrective action management
