Your responsibilities
:
1. Editing and maintaining the Institute’s website
2. Supervising and supporting the further development of the Institute’s newsletter and social media channels
3. Creating, editing, and publishing research-related content (e.g., text, images)
4. Coordinating and supporting the further development of the Institute’s print portfolio
5. Supporting the conception and implementation of communication measures (e.g., press and media relations, events, development of new formats)
6. Supporting research management (e.g., third-party funding databases, networking projects)
Your profile:
7. Completed training in media, communication, journalism, or comparable fields with entry-level experience
8. Very good knowledge of content management systems (CMS), such as Drupal, and database programs
9. Experience in social media
10. Very good knowledge of text and image editing programs (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint)
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an enthusiasm for writing
12. Experience in web editorial processes and in the use of style guides and corporate design guidelines
13. Knowledge of current legal frameworks such as accessible web design (BITV) and data protection (GDPR)
14. Excellent written and spoken German and English
15. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and in a team
