We are working on a retained assignment with a global leader in AI-driven precision medicine seeking a Director of Product Strategy to join its R&D function. This is a pivotal role at the intersection of science, medicine, regulation, and technology, driving the integration of novel AI biomarkers into clinical practice and shaping the full product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Leadership
* Execute and refine product strategy, integrating AI biomarkers into clinical and pharmaceutical applications
* Lead prioritisation across multiple features through structured roadmaps, backlogs, and cross-functional coordination
* Ensure product documentation aligns with global regulatory standards for in-vitro diagnostics and digital health
Clinical & Market Integration
* Design user experiences that translate complex biomarker data into actionable insights for oncologists and healthcare stakeholders
* Engage directly with clinical and industry partners to shape product direction and ensure strong market fit
* Drive initiatives to expand the intellectual property portfolio in collaboration with scientific and legal teams
Cross-functional Collaboration
* Act as the bridge between science, engineering, regulatory, and commercial teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and impactful products
* Ensure alignment between business cases, clinical utility, and long-term company objectives
Ideal Candidate
* 10+ years of product leadership experience in oncology, diagnostics, or related healthcare sectors
* Background in medical oncology, molecular biology, or related field, with strong knowledge of clinical workflows
* Proven ability to lead product development across regulated healthcare environments (CE-IVDR, FDA, HIPAA, GDPR)
* Familiarity with AI applications in oncology and diagnostics
* Strong track record working cross-functionally across science, technology, and regulatory teams
* Excellent communicator with leadership skills and ability to influence at senior levels
* Fluent in English
