Das internationale Beschleunigerzentrum FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research), eines der größten Forschungsvorhaben weltweit, entsteht zurzeit in Darmstadt. FAIR wird am bestehenden Forschungszentrum GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung gebaut. Mit FAIR wird Materie im Labor erzeugt und erforscht werden, wie sie sonst nur im Universum vorkommt, um neue Erkenntnisse über die Entwicklung des Universums und den Aufbau der Materie zu erlangen. FAIR bietet die Gelegenheit, in diesem internationalen Umfeld in einem Team zu arbeiten, das sich täglich dafür einsetzt, Wissenschaft auf Weltniveau zu betreiben.

Studentische Aushilfskraft (d/m/w)

Die Projektplanung und das Risikomanagement im FAIR-Projekt verantworten die integrierte Planung von Terminen, Ressourcen und Kosten sowie die systematische Erfassung und Bewertung von Risiken. Die Gruppe arbeitet in zwei eng verzahnten Bereichen: IT-basiertes Reporting und Datenanalyse sowie die operative Unterstützung der Arbeitspaketleiter in Projektplanung und Risikomanagement. Gesucht wird eine studentische Aushilfskraft (d/m/w), die die gesamte Gruppe entlastet und je nach Bedarf und Talent beide Bereiche unterstützt.
Ihre Aufgaben:
Unterstützung bei der Pflege und Aktualisierung der Terminplanung in der Projektplanungssoftware Planisware (PLW) für die FAIR-SubprojekteUmsetzung und Nachverfolgung von Planänderungen in Planisware (PLW)Datenabgleich, Plausibilitätsprüfungen und Qualitätssicherung für Fortschritts- und Statusdaten (insbesondere in Excel)Aufbereitung, Analyse und Visualisierung von Progress-Daten, z. B. in Form von S-Kurven, Dashboards und AuswertungenUnterstützung bei der Erstellung von Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresreports in deutscher und englischer Sprache (PowerPoint)Zusammenführung, Strukturierung und Analyse unterschiedlicher Datensätze mit Excel zu projektbezogenen FragestellungenMitwirkung bei der Erstellung und Pflege von Reports und Dashboards (je nach Talent und Interesse)Erstellung und Pflege von digitalen Trainingsmaterialien (z. Ihr Profil :
Laufendes Studium, z. B. Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, BWL, Ingenieur- oder Naturwissenschaften oder vergleichbarer StudiengangAusgeprägte Affinität zu Daten, IT-Systemen und digitalen ToolsAnalytische und strukturierte Arbeitsweise sowie ein hohes Maß an Sorgfalt im Umgang mit DatenSehr gute Deutschkenntnisse sowie gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und SchriftSelbstständige, zuverlässige Arbeitsweise und Freude an der Zusammenarbeit im TeamSehr gute Excel-Kenntnisse (Datenanalyse, Auswertungen, Plausibilitätsprüfungen) oder die Bereitschaft, sich diese kurzfristig anzueignenInteresse an Projektmanagement-Methoden und Projektplanungssoftware (von Vorteil, aber keine Voraussetzung)

Promoting young researchers is a major priority for the Helmholtz Association. Its qualification schemes for young researchers are geared mainly towards PhD students, postdocs and young managers. The Helmholtz Association has set high standards for its talent management. Its strategy begins with targeted recruitment of highly qualified staff at all levels, followed by comprehensive support aimed at further developing their potential. Ensuring equal opportunities is an essential element in all talent management activities undertaken by the Helmholtz Association.
The Helmholtz Graduate Schools and Research Schools at almost all Helmholtz Centers provide doctoral students with the general and specific skills and training they need, as well as ample opportunity to network. The period following a doctorate is decisive in determining the direction and success of a scientific career. For this reason, we established Career Development Centers for postdoctoral researchers in the Helmholtz Centers. This equips young researchers with the skills they need to go on to head a Helmholtz Investigator Group, for example. As an Investigator Group leader, junior scientists can independently set up their own group to conduct research in their specialist field and acquire management skills.
Within its talent management strategy, the Helmholtz Association pays special attention to the increased recruitment of talented female scientists both from Germany and abroad.
