The Role:
As Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic revenue growth, securing high-value projects, and expanding market presence. Working closely with senior leadership, you will develop and implement transformational sales strategies to position the company as a market leader.
Key responsibilities include:
* Strategic Growth & Market Expansion – Define and execute ambitious sales plans to drive new customer acquisition and major project wins.
* Team Leadership & Development – Inspire and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
* Customer Relationship Management – Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring a deep understanding of their operational needs.
* Solution-Oriented Sales Approach – Translate customer challenges into tailored, high-impact MHS solutions, delivering real value.
* Proposal & Contract Management – Oversee the end-to-end proposal process, ensuring technical and commercial excellence while negotiating complex contracts.
* Seamless Project Handover – Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation, driving customer satisfaction.
* Market Intelligence & Innovation – Stay ahead of industry trends, providing insights to shape future product development and innovation strategies.
The Person:
We are looking for an experienced and commercially astute sales leader with a proven ability to drive business growth in the MHS or wider automation sector.
You will bring:
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related commercial discipline.
* 10+ years of industrial sales experience, with a track record of exceeding revenue targets and securing major accounts.
* Strong expertise in identifying customer needs and delivering tailored, high-value MHS solutions.
* Extensive experience in complex technical sales negotiations and contract management.
* Outstanding leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performance sales culture.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Fluency in English (a second language would be a plus).
* Willingness to travel internationally to drive business success.
